Nail File Grit Chart
Nail File Grit Chart - Sorry can anyone please tell me what grit files they are using to do acrylics? Does anyone know of a website which has info on nail file grits? Most techs incorrectly using an e file on the natural nails are using the incorrect grit, incorrect speed, and using too much pressure, taking off too much nail and causing pain. They're sanitizable, last quite well (longer than most files i've tried and i've tried lots in my search for the perfect file!), are lovely to use and the 240 grit. Also after removal, is everyone buffing nail and if so with what grit buffer? Training that i had said to use a 180 grit file and another board i go too also say to use 180 grit for preparing the nail for gels, so many different thoughts on these.
